Frames of 41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresak taken in Breddorfer Moor. The position of the comet equals the position at 27.03.2017 11:40:31 pm. At all 76 frames with 1 min each have been collected. Start of session 27:03.2017 at 9:06:18 pm. End of session 28.03.2017 at 00:02:41 am. The movie shows the apparent movement of the comet during the session. Canon EOS 5Da MkII with EF 200mm L I f/2.8 at f/4.0, 1600 ISO, no filters. Vixen GP-D2 with DIY telescope control OnStep. Guided with a MGEN with a 100mm f/2.8 Kowa lens.
The processing was done with PI for the comet at stars separately. The nonlinear pictures have been combined within PS. Additional steps: slight star size reduction. Further increased saturation of the stars. Click the picture to get a larger view.
