Neowise
In light of recent events I reorganized my pages and introduced a separate page for comets. Your can find some Neowise photos there as well.
10 inch Newton Astrograph
These days I am setting up pages of my new ATM project. It is a 10 inch Newton astrograph. The pages are in german language and still under construction.
End of Galaxy Season
I guess M101 is my last photo of the spring season this year.
Silver Needle
In the galaxy gallery you’ll find a photo of the Silver Needle Galaxy NGC 4244. The excellent weather during march allowed me to complete a series of frames started 2019.
Starburst Galaxy
The second usable (!) new moon phase allowed me to catch M94. Find it at my galaxy page. This 9m galaxy is to find in Cvn and one of the so-called starburst galaxies. Unfortunately the star forming region at the outer rim of the central area is not visible in smaller instruments… but at this Hubble photo….
Black Eye and Bear Paw Galaxy
Leo I Group
The Leo I Group – sometimes called M96 Group – is a famous galaxy cluster in Leo. This group contains approx. 24 galaxies in which M105, M95 and M96 are Messier listed. Here is a 12 hours LRGB shot showing M95 and M96.
