A three years old data set of light frames finally processed satisfying. It shows a part of the Virgo Cluster in a field of about 5° x 3.3°.

Markarians Chain

After numerous trials to shoot a widefield of Barnards Loop I had an opportunity to do this successfully in October 2018. Unfortunately I didn’t  manage the picture processing then. This year I tried it again and succeeded. Find the picture and the story (in german).

During the „White Nights“  I built a new power supply for my mobile set-up. Find some information here.

I added some galaxies of spring time and reworked the arrangement of my gallery. Additionally I wrote a summary (in german) of my M51 history.

This Photo was shot during  three nights at Athos La Palma. It show the interstellar dirt between the red California Nabula and the blue Pleiades. In between there is the higly active star assoziation Per OB2.

A narrowband photo with goofed up star color  calibration. But anyway a nice picture of the Wolf Rayet Nebula presumably around WR134.

I crafted an adapter to convince my USB powerbank to deliver 12V instead of 5V at the USB socket.
